Indigenous species nursery

To support sustainable development on the island, a nursery of indigenous plant species, as well as fruit trees that are considered local has been set up in 2024. Part of the nursery is funded by the Farm to Crafts project, that focusses on the propagation and replanting of the Brasia tree (Haematoxylum brasiletto) and Dushi kabei (Maclura tinctoria).
